On to the giveaway question:~)
The reason I love sewing is that it is relaxing and it allows me to be creative. The process rests my mind or allows me to ponder the things going on in my life. It gives me clarity. It is like therapy only it costs less and when I'm done I have something to show for my time besides a bill :~) After years of sewing I'm still amazed when I finish something. LOL! I think, " Wow, I created that." I love it when people ask me to make them something and when they enjoy the things I've sewn for them. I love little ones toting my quilts and big ones snuggled in them. My sister cried this year at Christmas over a purse I made her....I guess I love sewing for those reasons ...it touches me and allows me to touch someone else.

Thanks for hosting a great giveaway! I love sewing for the simple reason that each item is slowly and carefully handmade with THOUGHT. When you're creating a peice for someone else, you think about them while you're making it and I think a little bit of your own love for that person leaks through. :)

I love Amy Butler! I only have 2 of her patterns. I'm liking this one too! =) I enjoy sewing bcuz I love all the pretty fabrics out there but I love when giving as gift: they know you took time out for them to craft something special.

I love sewing because it is relaxing. You can focus on the pattern and the fabric, and nothing else. Then, when you are finished with a project, you have something awesome to show for it.
