We began this past Saturday bright and early because we wanted to
get some fresh eggs and other items from one of our
local farmer's market. We then headed to some yard sales
where I found this great books called Please Don't Eat the Daisies.
I'm a great fan of Doris Day and have seen this movie many times so I was excited when
I found this book for 25 cents.
Next stop a couple of thrift stores.
Well, I found these great children's sewing patterns, a roll of vintage cotton rick rack (I love rick rack),
some vintage perle cotton and vintage trim. Really great finds, but then I found this
current Amy Butler sewing book (which I've wanted to buy-but haven't) for two dollars!

They play the BEST MUSIC from the 40s, 50s and 60s with at least 2 DORIS DAY songs an hour, plus a 2 hour special on DORIS DAY every Sunday at 3pm (EST) and repeated on Wednesdays at 3pm and 8pm (EST).
